happy teachers' day all. we had NO celebrations this time. funny huh? so in the morning we had the ACES thing and the Mass Dance by the sec ones. Then, we went back to class for supposedly 1 and a half hours of lessons, but my math teacher didn't come in so we had 2 free periods and 1 period recess. Free periods were fun. Who knew dania and jean were so funny? They were showing us things and what not. hahaha.

We watched Kinball in the hall. It's this game we learnt from the japanese exchange students last week. Something to do with a over-sized pink ball. It was kinda boring. But a little fun to watch. Irony. I'll post up them pictures once gladys sends them to me :)

We had the class party which was okay. Lots of food and things.

Oh, I forgot to blog about this yesterday. Apparently, yesterday some of the blanks had a hair-neatness fetish. In the morning after devotion and the national anthem, head blank suddenly asked all the blanks and prefects to go down the row and check our hair. And head blank actually cut SOMEONE'S HAIR. I mean fringe. But still!! Merde. I think I would have died. And there was more hair drama in my class with.. So today, before DOTs, everyone was rushing to the toilet to pin their fringes and pin up any dangling/stray hair so that blank.2 wouldn't cut it. Someone said that blank.2 was carrying a scissors up and was gonna cut people's hair or smth. So we all looked like bald geeks for 2 hours and damn it feels funny - all pinned up and stuff. Oh, and cherissa and alicia helped me do the poofy glam fringe. It's trendy. Haha. But I took it off later cause the pins I borrowed were hurting my sculp. In the end, blank.2 didn't even say anything. There wasn't any scissors. Oh joy.

We even watched a movie called "Paid Forward". It's boring-interesting cause I couldn't really make out what the story was really about cause the sun was sort of shining on the OPH screen and the image was very unclear and stuff. There was this part of the show when the social studies teacher asked the students how they intended or had changed the world. Pretty funny.

One boy said,"I'm gonna set up a website in chinese and tell all the kids in china to jump up and down at the same time."

(I think it goes something like this anyway.)

Oh. We did Batik in school for art today. The wax is like super smelly. Ew. We did the filling in of colours today and toning and stuff. Batik is actually quite pretty. Hooha. The Batik teacher is cranky I tell you. Plus, she sort of annoys me. So anyway, we got the Batik colours all over our hands and the Batik teacher was like it can be washed off and stuff. But no. When we went to the toilet to scrub it off with soap the colorus just stuck there. And I has the yellow ink on my hand which looks a whole lot like the ointment thing the chinese put on their cuts and wounds and stuff. Weird. I mean the yellow ink on my hand. Not the chinese ointment for cuts.

Chao chao.

So we had our Home Economics practical exam on tuesday. We were supposed to create or make a dish that sort of represented Singapore's identity and whatsits. This is what we came up with on that day.

These are the spastic sausages. Bloody funny. They weren't supposed to curl up like that actually.

Up close on a single spastic sausage.

Finale. That's a glass of banana smoothie by the way.

Up close. Patriotism much. Oh, that's dania. Haha :]

Oh yeah. You know for PE, we doing FLOORBALL. A game which I suck at. It looks like an imitation game. Like a mixture of golf and hockey. It's plastic sticks and balls we're using for crying out loud. So eek. It's actually alittle violent I guess. We played match yesterday. My team drawed with Euphoria's team so we're playing AGAIN next week. Oh the horror. I got whacked in the shin by a supposedly floorball stick. And, dalvin's stick got whacked by someone and it flew and hit someplace near euphoria's eye. It was pretty scary. No worries. There weren't any bleeding or whatsoever. Anyway, I HATE FLOORBALL. Boo. I'd rather play tennis like last time. It's so much more fun than this plastic game. I think my hand-eye-leg coordination is pretty bad. Hah. Chao chao.

Today's patriot-otism day. Almost everyone is wearing red. We had a 'concert' thing in the hall. Our eldds performance was the FIRST item. We did a shadow play. It was okay I guess (or hope?). So the they had the quiz thing for like half an hour about Singapore and her government and stuff. Then we had the house creativity competition. Each house was to come up with a skit sort of thing and they were all given the same piece of music which is to be played during the skit. Quite interesting. As usual, Tolley is last. Haha. After that we had the national day song sing-a-long. HAHA. That was quite fun. The whole hall went mad. Nair and I were doing some crazy hand actions to the lyrics. Then Dalvinjit and Stasha came joined us. HAHA. It was fun. Especially when there was this song which was sang in chinese and the school put the song in han yu ping yin for the non-chinese-learning people to sing a long. There was this part something about soaring with wings, so in chinese it's "chi bang". It's actually pronounced as chi bung, but dalvinjit pronounced it as chi BANG. As in like BANG the door or something. That cracked me up like crap. So hilarious.

After they dismissed us, simran, dalvinjit, nair and I went to coronation to get SUSHI :] Yum yum. Then I met audrey at west mall (yes, it's pathetico but it's quite nearbyish) and we sat at Burger King for like 2 hours or smth (of course we bought food. we didn't just sit there you know). Lots of catching up. Walked around west mall and we bought a birthday card for her mom. Oh, and we've truly embarassed ourselves beyond embarassment. Merde, I'd better not say. Fraid racial/religious riots may start or I may get sued. Snap and crap. Too much history lessons!

OH YEAH. I totally forgot to tell you all about THE HARVARD DIN & TONICS!!! They came to my school yesterday. They are WONDERFUL. Okay, yes, they are from Harvard University. They are a WORLD FAMOUS A CAPPELLA GROUP! Their voices are like gifts from the sound gods! It's snapping AWESOME. Plus, one of them is looking so fine. Another looks like ASHTON KUTCHER!! Only he looks more Italian and has bigger eyes. I got their cd!! Waha. I even got their autographs! Oh joy and joy. Chao y'all.

Yup. The musical was yesterday at Victoria Theatre. I don't really like Victoria Theatre. I mean the way the seats are built. I was at the very LAST row.

I couldn't see the actresses face. Well only a little. I mean why do we have to sit so far at the back when people from other schools get to sit way in the front? We paid the same price no? Arh. Anyway, I saw Ariane!! I think that's how it spelt. From iTheatre in June!! Her school came to watch too. Haha. I still love her hair :] She's so lucky, get to sit like on the first level.

The play was okay. Except that the leader of the Fire tribe, Ash, her costume looked like a one of those Chinese lord's/emperor. You know, the whole really huge headwear golden thing with a huge robe and stuff. Iron, played by Angel, was really funny. She sings really well. And MEGA, played by Joanna, is like the BEST character over everyone else. She's HILARIOUS. But the story was a little predictamuno (ish). Haha.

So after the show ended, Divya, Leanne, Euphoria, Jean, Dalvinjit and I stayed back at the theatre near the vending machiens for awhile to sort of practise for the debate for the next day. Which was today. Actually Jean, Dalvinjit and I are really quite extra. Haha. After much not really practising (cause this girl wanted to get a drink and she was looking at Euphoria practising and she sort of cocked her head which cracked us up), as people kept walking past and looked at us like we had hair sprouting out of our ears, so we stopped and decided to go home. But we didn't really know how to get home from there. In the end, Leanne, Dalvinjit and I walked to Raffles MRT Station. Hahaha. It was really funny fun.

So today was the debate between my class and 2/2. The motion was whether examinations should be abolished. We were the house that agreed that exminations should be abolished. The debaters are Divya, Leanne and Euphoria and I'm the reserve. Hah. The debate was SO exciting. Especially when Leanne took their words and said that what they said was actually agreeing with us (sort of rebutting). And Divya is SO funny. Gladys and I nearly died laughing. Divya's actions were quite funny and especially when she said that she was very sad that her opponents were frogs in a well. I think I died laughing in my brain. I mean her facial expression was super funny. Yeah, so we won and we're going against 2/3 next. Yikes. They are like the smartest class and stuff.

Chao.
